Outlook oab not updating www datingabusestopshere com
When you have Cached Exchange Mode enabled, Outlook by will by default cache the main Global Address List as well.
This is called the Offline Address Book and is being generated on the Exchange server.
Outlook is not updating the OAL (Offline Address List) with the new data from the GAL.
We are currently using exchange 2013 and most users have outlook 2010, there are a few users that have outlook 2013.
Eventually I got to the conclusion that what the above text is trying to tell us is that, by default, Exchange updates the OAB every 8 hours. If I look at my environment, I can see this is indeed the case: For organizations where recipients change at a considerable rate, this might not be ideal. When we make a change in AD or Exchange the outlook 2010 global address books update immediately and automatically, but the outlook 2013 users do not.Seems like it takes a full day before the 2013 outlook users are up to date.Let us say that we want to want to update the OAB every 2 hours instead.
The Global Address List (GAL) does not update on a Outlook client despite changes/new addresses appearing on other machines.
